AnonymousBrilliant, thanks for that! I’m not sure about how HA first started, it was predominantly Catholic when i was involved but it was also open to everyone and all religions, i was very young when involved and the guy i was living with messed with my head big time, i was told that the homosexual “lifestyle” was sinful but then i was being told where the local beats were and had sexual advances made towards me, i had no idea what a beat was back then, I’m not 100% sure but i think sometimes HA were doing outreach at beats! I’d heard years ago that the Catholic church were still involved in WA but not sure if that is true. I have no idea if Homosexuals Anonymous is still running in WA
