Anthony Venn-Brown talks with an Angel
During the pandemic, Angel Huertas (originally from Puerto Rico, now living in Texas) has been doing many interviews. The series, is entitled Tertuliando en Cuarentena, which essentially means gathering during quarantine.
Way back in 2005, Angel contacted me after serendipitously discovering my autobiography, A Life of Unlearning, while he was attending Hillsong College. Some things are just providential. I’ve done many interviews over the years. Some interviewers ask predictable questions while others dig much deeper. Angel is the latter. Despite some technical difficulties, we pressed on. I’m glad we did. I hope you are too.
In this interview you’ll find out how forgiveness saved my life, why I cried after sex, that sometimes I hear voices and about the darkest day of my life.
So much like my own story, Anthony and Angel. Much emotional and physical trauma, struggle and conflict before settling into acceptance.
Hi Gary….thanks for popping in and for your comment. So many emails I get from readers of my autobiography begin with “your story is my story”
